From Limerick (approx 20 miles)
Take the N18 to Clarecastle. In the centre of the village exit the N18 at the "Coach House" by continuing straight (instead of turning right to Ennis). After half a mile take the left at the signpost for Clare Vehicle Testing Centre. Continue for another half mile.

Take the N18 to Clareabbey Roundabout. On the right is a Maxol garage. Take this exit and continue straight to Clarecastle Village. Take a right at the church and an immediate left. Continue to a "T" junction and take a right. Go half mile and take the left at the signpost for Clare Vehicle Testing Centre. Continue for another half mile.

From Ennis (approx 3 miles)
Take the N18 out of Ennis to Clarecastle. Take a right at the church and an immediate left. Continue to a "T" junction and take a right. Go half mile and take the left at the signpost for Clare Vehicle Testing Centre. Continue for another half mile.
